Family Swim

Club members and their children (ages 14 and under) have access to family swim at any of our clubs. Family non-members (ages 15 and over) must pay the member guest fee to attend Family Swim. There are two lap lanes open at WAC during Family Swim. At LPAC, LSAC, LVAC and EAC*, all lanes will be removed from the pool. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. For safety, children under 15 years of age are not allowed in the whirlpool. Family Swim Rules are posted in the pool area.

*At EAC, starting May 1st the pool and therapy pool will be open ONLY to Family Swim participants during Family Swim Hours. New family swim hours as of May 1st are Saturdays and Sundays 2:00pm – 5:00pm.

Family Swim Hours:
LPAC: Saturdays 3:00 – 6:00 pm
Sundays 4:00 – 6:00 pm
LVAC: Saturdays 3:00 – 6:00 pm
Sundays 3:00 – 6:00 pm
WAC: Saturdays 2:00 –5:00 pm
Sundays 3:00 – 6:00 pm
LSAC: Saturdays 3:00 – 6:00 pm
Sundays 3:00 – 6:00 pm
EAC: Saturdays 2:00 –5:00 pm
Sundays 2:00 – 5:00 pm

Pool and Lesson Guidelines

Children who are not toilet-trained must wear a swim diaper and tight-fitting plastic pants over diaper
Children under the age of 4 may use opposite sex locker rooms when accompanied by adult.
Children 4 and older must use same sex locker rooms or Family Locker Rooms off of the pool deck.
Siblings of children participating in swim lessons have complimentary use of Kids Club during lessons.
During Family Swim, parents must remain in pool area and be in the pool with children who are not self sufficient swimmers.
No children in the hot tub at anytime.

Clip in and climb

Designed with both beginners and experts in mind, the CAC climbing walls feature a climbing surface that more closely resembles natural rock than anything on the market today.

It’s a great way to get out of your regular workout routine and into a robust social environment. And our facilities come equipped with an ever-changing assortment of routes and structures: crack climbing, a horizontal roof, dihedrals, arêtes, slab and endurance routes. In addition to this, Lincoln Park offers a sustained 30-degree overhang, Lakeview features a climbing wall and a bouldering cave and Evanston is home to two climbing walls, a bouldering cave and 46-foot high endurance routes. If you’re looking to shake up up your workout and get your adrenaline running, this is a great way to help improve your balance, coordination and flexibility while refining your arm, back and core strength. We offer year-round access as well as a variety of training classes for swimmers at all skill levels.

With minimal impact on your joints, swimming is a great full body workout utilizing resistance training.
