Group Fitness

Our instructors have groupies. Seriously.

The most passionate, charismatic and engaging instructors in the city teach Chicago Athletic Club classes. And since it’s included in your membership, why not try something new? Spinning®, swimming, yoga, Zumba, Body Pump®, ballet, boxing, Pilates, and everything in-between. They’re perfect for members who need group motivation or just want to change up their workout routine—so what have you got to lose? Try one or try a few; you’ll find out just how fast your workouts can go!

Our instructors bring their experience and enthusiasm to every class. Group fitness classes are focused and intense, but also social and fun.  All instructors are certified by one or more of the leading nationally-recognized Group Fitness Instructor Certification organizations and participate in continuing education workshops and seminars on a regular basis.

begins 75 minutes before class!

To reduce the risk of injury and enjoy a complete and safe workout, please follow these guidelines:

  • Please inform instructors of any special considerations (pregnancy, diabetes, recent surgery, etc.). CAC recommends a physical examination before undertaking any exercise program.
  • Please arrive on time for the warm-up and stay through the entire class.
  • Instructors will be substituted from time-to-time. Any substitutions, deletions or additions to the printed schedules will be posted at the front desk.
